Privacy Policy

Declaration of Privacy Policy

This declaration of privacy policy is to inform the users of this website about the type, the scope, and the purpose of the collection and usage of personal data by the website maintainer Julia Märtin.

The website maintainer takes your data protection very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal regulations. As new technologies and the continuous development of this website may result in changes to this privacy policy, I recommend reading this declaration of privacy policy again at regular intervals.

Definitions of terms used here (e.g. “personal data” or “processing”) can be found in Art. 4 GDPR.

Accessing Data

Due to our legitimate interest (see Art. 6, para. 1, lit. f GDPR), we, i.e. the website maintainer and the site provider, respectively, collect data on every access to the website and store this data as “server log files” on the server of the website. The following data is logged in this way:

  • visited website
  • time at the moment of access
  • amount of the transferred data in byte
  • source/reference from which you got to the site
  • used browser
  • used operating system
  • used IP address

The server log files are stored for no longer than seven days and are then erased. The data is stored for security reasons, e.g. to be able to solve cases of abuse. If data has to be kept for reasons of evidence, it is excepted from erasure until the incident is finally solved.

Recording and Processing of Personal Data

The website maintainer collects, uses, and transfers your personal data only if this is permitted by law or if you consent to the collection of the data.

Personal data is any and all information that serves to identify you and that can be traced back to you – i.e. for example your name, your e-mail address, and your telephone number.

You can also visit this website without providing personal data. However, to improve my online offer, I store (without reference to your person) your accessing data to this website. This accessing data includes e.g. the file requested by you or the name of your internet provider. By the anonymisation of the data, no conclusions about you are possible.

Users’ Rights

On request, you as a user have the right to obtain free information about which personal data about you has been stored. You also have the right to rectification of incorrect data and to restriction of processing or erasure of your personal data. If applicable, you can also assert your right to data portability. Should you assume that your data was processed illegally, you may file a complaint to the responsible data protection supervisory.

Erasure of Data

As long as your requirement is not an obstacle to a statutory duty of storing data (e.g.  data preservation), you have the right to erasure of your data. Data stored by me will be erased if it is no longer necessary for its purpose and there are no legally stipulated storage periods. If an erasure is not possible because the data is required for permissible legal purposes, a restriction of data processing will take place. In that case, the data will be blocked and not be processed for other purposes.

Right to Objection

Users of this website can exercise their right to objection and object to the processing of their personal data at any time.

Should you wish to obtain a rectification, blocking, erasure, or information about the personal data stored about you, or if you have questions concerning the collection, processing, or usage of your personal data, or if you want to revoke granted consents, please contact the following e-mail address: kontakt(at)julia-maertin.de
